As the creative behind Mosman Bride, and Chief Marketing Officer at The Albert Mosman I’m often asked about my own wedding. Long before my husband imagined transforming The Albert into what it is today, we were married right here in Mosman in February 2010.

I had always dreamed of a perfect sunny day — golden light, blue skies! Instead, we were given one of the rainiest days of the year. And I mean poured and poured. All day. Non-stop.
Now, years later, watching couples begin their own stories at The Albert Mosman feels incredibly special. Mosman remains one of the most charming places to say “I do,” and I love showing couples just how special it is to get married right here in Mosman.
A personal tip I now share with every couple:
always have a wet weather backup plan. We had booked the rotunda at Balmoral, and it absolutely came in handy — not only as a beautiful sheltered option, but also for those in-between moments when the rain paused and we could duck out for gorgeous outdoor photos. That little bit of planning made all the difference.

By having the ceremony and reception in one place there are so many magic places for a photoshoot and you stil have time to be back for cocktail hour.

One of my favourite details was displaying our parents’ and grandparents’ wedding photographs. Seeing generations of love stories side by side added a depth and sentiment that guests still talk about. Those personal touches are what truly elevate a wedding from beautiful to unforgettable.
